So, How did I even get here?
creator <> marketing powerhouse <> founder of a bone broth co <> chef
I am a firm believer in creating your own opportunities. I realized a while back that waiting for chances can hinder your progress and potential for growth. That's why I took matters into my own hands. My passion for the culinary world sparked at a young age, inspired by my family's cooking. As I grew older, my priorities shifted, leading me to explore different paths. From a 9-5 job to consulting for brands and working as a creator, I tried it all. However, none of these roles truly fulfilled me. Some may call me overly ambitious, but few can deny that I bring my dreams to life. Four years ago, I took a leap of faith and embarked on my passion projects. It hasn't been an easy journey, but here I am today.

I envisioned creating a bone broth tailored to an underserved market, driven by my own need for quality broth during my pregnancies. Feeling let down by western medicine, I turned to my roots. Through research, experimentation, and dedication, I crafted the finest (Halal) bone broth in the market. Obtaining licenses, studying wellness, and delving into holistic learning deepened my understanding of the significance of broth in our daily lives.

Launching my own brand reignited the passion I had set aside years ago - pursuing further culinary education. While mostly self-taught, my kitchen experiments have allowed me to refine top-notch recipes. Despite the wealth of online resources, I felt the need for formal education. Hence, I made the decision to return to school and delve into the Science of Cooking. As I evolve, grow, and learn, I continue to seize the opportunities I create for myself. Next week, the journey continues as I share more about how I prepped for my first Private Dinner as a Chef, all while also building my own company.
xx,
M
